Post Triple Date

Alright, the guys were very concerned on how the triple date would go. Ace, Red and Mike in particular were worried about me meeting Nicole. As Ace put it " Its gonna be a blood bath ". I don't think I'm that tough, but oh well.

Ace and I had dinner at Sammy's because we anticipated triple date to be much earlier. Ace prepped me on polite nice conversational questions that would be appropriate to ask. I get very testy and resentful about having to censor myself. Ace sees the evilness coming out of me from the resentfulness. We decide that I should make a pit stop to Starbucks. Coffee makes me nicer. I'm always super friendly to customers and strangers once I drink coffee.

We get orders to meet at Tom's place. Ace and I discuss carpooling arrangements as we see the lovely new couple approach us. I remind myself " play nice ". They walk up holding hands, my hearts starts to melt a smidge. Mikey looks really happy. They make a cute couple.

To everyone's surprise, I play super nice to Nicole for the whole evening. She's cool and very friendly. Nicole won some extra bonus points for liking my hair color. haha. My final thoughts on Nicole: I like the girl. She's chill and nice. The girl charmed me.

Most importantly, Nicole makes Mike happy. I'm glad that Mike has found himself a sweet nice chickie. I glanced over at the lovely couple during dinner and saw Mike give her a shoulder kiss. Too cute. I give 2 thumbs to the newbie Nicole, much to everyone's dismay. haha.

Triple Date

Tonight I will be going out on a triple date. I have not been on a triple in about a year or so. Funny fact, the couples on that triple date are no longer together. haha. I will be out and about with Lisa, Tom, Mike, Nicole and my date Ace.

There is a purpose to this evening. Lisa, Tom and I will be meeting Nicole for the first time. Nicole is the chickie that Mike is seeing lately. It has been brought to my attention that I am very protective over Mike and majority of my guy friends. Mike especially because of the bullshit he went through many months ago. As Ace puts it " Thao, you are very motherly. If anyone were to mess with your friends, you WILL tear their heads OFF".

My goal for this evening is to not come off so protective over Mike. I will not give the "What are your intentions with Mike" question. I will do my very best to be charming as always. Mike is very happy with Nicole so she already has a few bonus points.

Oh and to keep it real, I will be watching and judging every thing Nicole does. I will read all of her body language and see how much she eats. Oh, I pray she is not shy and quite for the entire evening. Granted she is in a tough situation meeting 3 new people, but still. I don't play well with shy, quite and reserved people.

I do have Ace and Lisa by my side to remind me of all my goals and to play nice.

I'm feeling like Scrappy Doo

Last night Tam went out to bar Dynomite with his co workers. He is currently talking to 2 of his co workers at the same time. Haha. Yes, Tam likes to juggle. Red jokes that he and I should show up later and watch Tam do his thing. It would be rather amusing.

Well looks like Tam could have used some suite 26 back up last night. Tam is outside the bar with Wendy, Raul and one other co worker. Tam runs into the " Squares ", Firl's other group of friends in San Diego. They hang with her ex sometimes. Some of the squares are nice like Prince, Ryan and Ceto. However, Tam gets to interact with Don the Dick. Don keeps insisting that Tam is a fobby C list V Pop singer name Toan aka Thingie that performs at the Pala cascino. Thingie is also Lisa's ex. Tam tells Don he is mistaken, but that he knows who Don is referring to. This isn't the first time that Don the Dick has insisted that Tam is Toan aka Thingie. Tam is irritated and annoyed. It's rude and insulting when someone keeps insisting you're fobby singer over and over again.

I'm annoyed that someone irritated my brother. Red joked that if i was there, Tam would have to pick me up and carry me away for being too scrappy. Did I mention this is the same Don that kicked suite 26 out of his Halloween house party in Mira Mesa a few years ago? He told Firl it was cool that we came but he made a scene instead once got there. Making it very obvious that we were so not welcomed. Don's this stereotypical viet wannabe hard tough guy from Mira Mesa. Oh and I found out that Don use to date Lisa back in high school or something. Perhaps this dickhead never got over Lisa and is jealous of Tam's friendship with her. Or perhaps he's just a jerk. Firl emailed Prince to find out why Don was being a dick.

I need to hit the gym and get all this agression out.

Lesson of the day: don't mess with my brother or I will get Scrappy Doo on you.
