The first preview I saw last night was for the Twilight saga's New Moon. Sigh. I squeak in delight because I'm hot for Edward Cullen, the modern day prince charming. He can bite me anytime. Haha.
A few other people cheered in the theater. But a lot of people were booing up a storm. I totally forgot that die hard Harry Potter fans hate Twilight. And Twilighters hate Harry Potter. It's the weird pitting one book against the other that die hard fans made up. J.K Rowling vs. Stephanie Meyer. Who out sells who? Who brings in more money at the box office? Edward vs. Harry. Vampire vs. Witch. It's just like how fans and the media made up the Britney vs. Christina crap. Weird how you can't be into both series.
I guess I'm part of that small percentage that enjoy reading both Twilight and Harry Potter. However, I love reading Twilight a thousand times more! I can read the Twilight books over and over and over. I've read Twilight, New Moon, Eclispe and Breaking Dawn at least 4 times each. I could never do that with the Harry Potter series. Those were a one time only reads.
Lesson of the day: you can be into both vampires and witches. It's all fun make believe.
